Jennie Anstey DO
Jennie Anstey, B.Sc, D.O. completed her bachelor's degree in physiology at McGill University. She has worked in ischemic exercise research in the MRI department of the Montreal Neurological Institute and completed a rehabilitation-focused Pilates instructor course with Polestar Education.
She completed her D.O. at Académie Sutherland d’Ostéopathie du Québec (ASOQ). She has completed training in ELDOA, Aquatic Craniosacral, Dolphin Dance, AquaHara, AquaLife Massage (above and below water), Soul Level Therapy and Spiritual Psychology, as well as a 3 years in Vermont in Sound Therapy and shamanic studies.
She is currently a faculty member of ASOQ and teaches several courses on cranial osteopathy and supervises clinics for students. In addition to her private practice based in Montreal, she organizes courses, workshops, conferences and retreats to share osteopathy with the public.
Michel Dufresne DO
Michel Dufresne, B.A., D.O., is a graduate osteopath from the Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques (C.E.O.) in Montreal, Canada, and also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Bishop's University, Sherbrooke, Canada.
He practices traditional and aquatic osteopathy, and teaches Aquatic Osteopathy in Europe, America and Asia. With Marie Panier, he co-authored a research paper on : L'adaptation des principes thérapeutiques de l'ostéopathie en milieu aquatique.
He is a member of the teaching faculty of the Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute (ATRI) in the USA. He teaches a practical approach to osteoarticular, visceral and cranial osteopathy.
Michel is also a professor at the Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal.
Marie Panier DO
Marie Panier D.O. Belgian of origin, began her professional activity with pregnant women and babies as a physiotherapist and then worked in the delivery room and in preparation for birth. She completed her basic training with different approaches related to birth and the reception of the being (Haptonomy, perineal rehabilitation, perinatal aquatic activities and for young children, sacred birth guide, Rebirth).
Her favorite place being hot water, she created the school "La Magie de l'eau" in Brussels in 1987. She became an osteopath there, in 1999 graduated from the College of Osteopathic Studies of Montreal CEO and closed his training by co-writing with Michel Dufresne D.O. of a research dissertation on "The adaptation of the therapeutic principles of Osteopathy to the aquatic environment"
In 2005, she founded the Odyssey, the journey of a birth, a perinatal and family resource center in Estrie where different therapists work in interdisciplinarity around birth.
For nearly 35 years, Marie has been developing different aquatic approaches inspired by the training she has followed: Watsu, Water movement, hot water massage on and under water, aquatic yoga, familiarization with water for young children, taming the fear of water...
She shares the fruit of her research in Europe and Quebec.
